So your first job when you get the full list of your Mac apps that are 32-bit, is to go to each developer's website and check for a newer version. The list makes that easy as it will show you the number of the version that you've got.
Mac Catalina Check For 32bit Apps
If Legacy Software isn't an option in the sidebar, select the Applications option and then check the list of apps at the right. The column that's labeled 64-bit will show a "No" listing for apps that are 32-bit.
Before downloading and installing macOS Catalina, please make sure to check out all your 32-bit apps currently running on your MacBook. You may have to update your Microsoft Office to 64 bit along with other apps. There is also a chance that your printers or third party keyboard may not work.

For apps that show "No," check the column named "Obtained from." If the app says it's from "unknown," it may not work in macOS Catalina. Those that are "obtained from" Apple, the Mac App Store, or an "Identified Developer" are much more likely to be available in 64-bit for macOS Catalina, even if the app is 32-bit on macOS Mojave.
Alternatively, a third-party app such as Go64, 32-bitCheck, or RoaringApps can help you check your Mac for apps that may not be compatible with Catalina (RoaringApps also has a searchable online database of 32-bit apps). If you find any Catalina-incompatible apps on your Mac (aside from those included with macOS), check with the developer to see if a Catalina-compatible version is available or coming soon
When I run the Apple system information apps check, I find many 32-bit apps - but they are all on connected backup drives - not on my iMac Pro boot drive. Do I need to worry about this? I suppose I could delete them from the backup drive but that is a lot of manual work.
Since July 2020 PlayOnMac ( ) works again on macOS Catalina so you can download it and run windows apps with it which I think is much simpler. Good news is that it also supports running 32bit windows apps on macOS Catalina. Installing apps with it is a little more complicated than with commercial CrossOver but it is free and worked with 2 apps which I tested. I checked it with Notepad++ 32bit and with 32bit game Tomb Raider Anniversary Demo and I was able to get both apps working on macOS Catalina. Also I was able to install RivaTuner 7.2.3 app (with dotnet35 winetrick and manual installation of Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package) to limit FPS in game which I recommend if someone wants to limit cpu and cpu fan usage. Alternatively if 7.2.3 does not work for you then you can try D3DOverrider from Rivatuner 2.24c (which is located in tools folder of rivatuner) which might be easier to install but it only allows to limit FPS by forcing vsync.
Alternately, you can use the free 32-bit Check application ( -bitcheck-archichect/), which lets you save, print, and filter the list. With it, you can check the folders of your choosing, and can check just apps, or all bundles including plugins and other executable code.
Apple was phasing out the use of 32-bits applications on macOS for quite some time. Now the finishing time has come that the version 10.15 or macOS Catalina will no more support 32-bit applications. If you are still running old and unsupported applications in macOS Mojave or earlier versions then you need be cautious before upgrading to macOS Catalina. Apple has released a new OS update, Catalina (10.15), and unlike previous updates, Catalina does not support 32-bit applications. This is problematic should you update your Apple computer and not realize that by doing so, that some of the software you use will no longer work on your MAC. We do not recomend that you update your MAC to Catalina without first checking which apps you have and which ones are not compatable with the new opperating system. Starting with Mac OS Catalina there is no longer any support for 32bit apps. Until Logmein updates their software it will not work on Catalina. I am activly trying to find anything I can about the status of the Logmein client software update. Hopefully someone from Logmein will respond. 2ff7e9595c
